This Friday Favorite has so much meaning. This song relates to strongly to my book "Shattered Living" coming out this fall. It touches on so many issues brought up in my book. This is also a tribute to the recently late Chester Bennington. Depression is a real thing a true sickness. My message to you today is that if you know someone dealing with this please speak up. He tragically took his on life this week. I remember many days during my high school years jamming out to his grunge sound. It shocked me to learn of this news. He was a very talented artist. Here is my Friday Favorite song of the week.   Have you ever had a song that takes you back to your childhood? This is one that does that for me. I adore this song.  It is so beautiful. I love the water being anywhere near the water. The water soothes my soul.   My grandparents lived on the beach and this reminds me of so many summers spent there. This song also reminds me of writing in way that writing frees my soul and the paper is an empty canvass that can set my minds thoughts free. I was driving the other day, and this song came on.  I knew right away it had to be my Favorite Friday Song.  The words just absolutely resonated with me a sort of an epiphany. So many times I have wanted to break away, to spread my wings and learn how to fly, as the songs lyrics say.  I feel I have finally come to a point that I am doing that with my writing.
